The randomness? Hard to believe, but this is not a dirty house. I've pulled children from dirty houses. Trust me. This is not That. This is me pulling things out in order to pack strategically. But 8 rolls of wrapping paper? How does a single-ish girl even COLLECT 8 rolls of wrapping paper? And how does a single-ish girl PACK 8 rolls of wrapping paper?

you need to buy one of those rubbermaid totes that are designed specifically to hold wrapping paper. Unfortunately I can't tell you where it came from, but if you're like me, you saw it in the store and were like "that is so cute, I have to have it" then you get home and use it for one thing and have a ton of it left over because you said the same thing to all the other "cute" rolls of paper in the store.
Lisa I probably have like ten rolls stuffed away in my closet. And I always wonder why I have so much!
{insert minor whine here} Elizabeth, I did! The problem with this crazy town is that while we have 100 wineries, we have two "buy everything here" stores. But I know exactly what you're talking about! Maybe I should call the scrap booking store ... Kylee, !!! I need to be DONE buying this stuff!!
Oh I so hear you on the wrapping paper thing. But wrapping paper does save money in the long run. I mean have you noticed that gift bags cost around $5+ a piece these days in which case you could be spending more on the wrapping for your gift, than the actual gift itself. As annoying as it is to store, move. etc.
Becauase everyone needs their own special paper...
At Christmas my kids all have their own color of paper (I buy it at Costco in these GIANT rolls that are double sided so it's kind of two for one) That way I don't have to mess with name tags and they know which gifts belong to them by the paper color :) I have done it FOREVER and I think if I stopped now there would be a revolt amongst them :) But the bigger the family gets, the more paper I need!!!
Oh Lisa! I love(ish) this post. I too understand about this "junk" we call NEEDED! Jeesh!
So....... how IS my single-ISH friend doing?
I remember a day when joy was here in your blog, but not so bountyful. And I am grinning ear to ear and praising God for such a happy place to visit my sweet-ish friend. Oh grief, that ISH didn't work! LOL ;)
Loves to you and thank you for the well wishing!!
Hugs and love,
Aminta
P.S. I would love to have an email addy to send you some pictures after we have settled into that house!
